A grumpy-faced cup for pens, brushes, small tools, or a small plant — low-poly angular face on the front, ears on the sides. Prints tall as a single piece with tree supports.

Materials & Tools:
Green Bambu PLA Basic filament (~170 grams w/ supports)
Bambu Lab P1P (0.4mm nozzle)
Tree-organic support material (same PLA)
A characterful desk cup that turns storage into a bit of personality. It's a ~125mm-tall vessel with a stylized grumpy face — angular low-poly cheeks, a furrowed brow, and ears on both sides. Printed upright in one piece; the overhangs on the face and ears need supports, so this is a good project for dialing in tree-organic support settings that peel off cleanly.
How It's Made
Step 1
— Load Model file and Print
Bambu P1P Right
- Load the model file . Make sure the filament type loaded in the selected machine and Bambu Studio match
- Set the base profile. 0.20mm Standard 0.4mm nozzle. Layer height 0.2mm.
- Enable tree-organic supports. Type tree(auto), style Tree Organic, threshold angle 40°, on build plate only, critical regions only, remove small overhangs. No raft.
- Tune support interface for clean removal. Top Z distance 0.3, bottom 0.2, top interface layers 3, concentric interface pattern, top interface spacing 0.5, support/object XY 0.35 — this gives supports that hold the face detail but pop off without scarring.
- Print, remove supports, clean up. Peel the tree supports off the face and ears, clean the eye/brow recesses, and it's ready to fill.
